The James River Knights basketball team (Buchanan, VA), dropped 31-23 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA)
The Buffaloes now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blacksburg for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 25. Floyd County will battle a Bruins team coming off a 41-34 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 13-2.
The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Alleghany dropped by Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 56-21, in a non-league battle.
