North Carolina High School Basketball - Wheatmore topped by Uwharrie Charter

The Uwharrie Charter Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Wheatmore Warriors to 48 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Grove for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Uwharrie Charter will battle a Patriots team coming off a 82-54 non-league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-12.

The Warriors (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Randleman prevailed over Trinity (Trinity, NC), 77-22, in a non-league contest.
