Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 50-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Uwharrie Charter upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Eagles host Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Southwestern Randolph won 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Wheatmore will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
