The Bishop Hendricken Hawks basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Classical Purple to 49 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Wareham for a non-league game on Sunday, January 26. Bishop Hendricken will confront a Vikings team coming off a 70-59 non-league win over Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Classical falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Purple travel to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to confront the Rams in a Division I game on Wednesday, January 29. The Rams go into the game with a record of 14-2. La Salle Academy won 52-36 in their recent league game against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI)
