In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks basketball team scored a close 70-67 triumph over the Classical Purple.

The Hawks (22-7) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 26-2 record. In their last contest, La Salle Academy nipped Central (Providence, RI), 73-54, in a non-league contest.
