The Hillcrest Screamin Eagles (Strawberry, AR) basketball were winner over the visiting Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 72-62 in Thursday's league bout.
The Screamin Eagles now possess a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to KIPP Blytheville for a 1A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 24. Hillcrest will play a Thunder team coming off a 68-19 non-league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR). The Thunder record now stands at 1-14.
With the loss, Ridgefield Christian falls to 11-16 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Maynard (Maynard, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-20.
