In Thursday's league contest, the host Ridgefield Christian Warriors basketball team scored a close 69-66 triumph over the Hillcrest Screamin Eagles.
The Warriors (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rural Special (Fox, AR). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Rural Special was tipped by Timbo (Timbo, AR), 56-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Screamin Eagles battle the KIPP Blytheville Thunder (Blytheville, AR) in a 1A Region 3 contest, on Friday, December 13. Hillcrest will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Thunder go into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 55-33 league loss to Armorel (Armorel, AR).
