The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Iroquois/Lake Preston to 40 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Hanson for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will confront a Beavers team coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Beavers record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Iroquois/Lake Preston falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD) to confront the Warriors in a B Region 2 game on Thursday, January 30. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 11-3.
