The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) basketball were winner over the host Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 65-48 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Wessington Springs for a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will play a Spartans team coming off a 80-63 league win over James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Iroquois/Lake Preston falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The travel to Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-12.
