The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, KY). The Mountain Lions come into the District 51 challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Pineville was routed by North Laurel (London, KY), 90-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Red Bird will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 80-62 league loss to Corbin (Corbin, KY).
