The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Cumberland County was knocked off by Clinton County (Albany, KY), 65-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Red Bird will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 85-43 league loss to Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY).
