The King Brahmas basketball team (Kingsville, TX), was trounced 50-12 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX)

The Wildcats (16-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Zapata (Zapata, TX). The Hawks come into the 4A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, Zapata was trounced by Robstown (Robstown, TX), 43-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Brahmas battle the Harmony School of Excellence Hawks (Laredo, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 24. King will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 67-20 league loss to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX).
