The Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) basketball edged the visiting O'Bannon Greenwaves (Greenville, MS), 37-31 in Thursday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to O'Bannon for a 2A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Charleston will play a Greenwaves team coming off a 35-23 league win over North Side (Shelby, MS). The Greenwaves record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, O'Bannon falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Greenwaves travel to Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS) to play the Tigers in a 2A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Leflore County lost 48-33 in their recent league bout against Riverside (Avon, MS)
