In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Jefferson County Tigers basketball team scored a good 47-35 triumph over the Port Gibson Blue Waves.
The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles go into the 3A Region 7 contest with a 9-7 record.
In their next game, the Blue Waves battle the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) in a 3A Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Port Gibson will attempt to better on its 4-20 season record. The Cobras go into the contest with a 12-12 record after their 43-28 league loss to South Pike (Magnolia, MS).
