The Generals (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region 2 District 14 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Eisenhower tipped Cleveland (Cleveland, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 14 battle, on Friday, January 24. Nimitz will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 8-1 league win over Dekaney (Houston, TX).
