In Monday's league outing, the host MacArthur Generals soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Nimitz Cougars.

The Generals (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 2 District 14 outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Aldine got by Dekaney (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 14 outing, on Tuesday, February 25. Nimitz will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record.
