In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Temple Baptist Eagles basketball team scored a big 62-34 triumph over the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors.
The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Haywood Christian Academy (Waynesville, NC). The Red Wolves go into the contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Haywood Christian Academy smashed Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC), 63-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Christian Family Academy Fire (Hickory, NC) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Veritas Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Fire go into the contest with a 10-2 record after their 55-15 league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC).
