The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Temple Baptist Eagles (Asheville, NC) and the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC), observed Temple Baptist's basketball team overwhelm Veritas Christian Academy by a score of 52-23.
The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Haywood Christian Academy (Waynesville, NC). The Red Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Haywood Christian Academy trounced Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC), 60-47, in a league challenge.
