Massachusetts High School Basketball - Algonquin Regional tipped by Wachusett Regional

The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Algonquin Regional Titans to 42 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shrewsbury for a Midland-Wachusett A contest on Friday, January 27. Wachusett Regional will meet a Colonials team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Colonials record now stands at 3-7.
The Titans (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Blue Devils enter the Midland-Wachusett A contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Leominster was nudged by Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 56-48, in a league contest.
