Massachusetts High School Basketball - Algonquin Regional ripped by Wachusett Regional

The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Algonquin Regional Titans to 34 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Wachusett Regional will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 71-49 league win over South (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 14-2.

The Titans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Fitchburg triumphed over Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 55-31, in a non-league contest.
