Texas High School Basketball - Friendswood ripped by Ball

The Ball Tornadoes basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Friendswood Mustangs to 37 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe for a 5A Region III District 18 contest on Friday, January 27. Ball will battle a Indians team coming off a 58-53 league win over La Porte (La Porte, TX). The Indians record now stands at 19-10.

The Mustangs (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Angleton (Angleton, TX). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region III District 18 contest with a 17-12 record. In their last contest, Angleton was routed by Ball (Galveston, TX), 71-54, in a league contest.
