The Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) basketball felled the host Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), 60-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (3-10) will now prepare for their test against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, North Haven thwarted Career Magnet (New Haven, CT), 54-38, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Haven for a non-league test on Friday, January 27.
