Nebraska High School Basketball - Palmer knocked off by Burwell

The Burwell Longhorns basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Palmer Tigers to 37 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia/Loup City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Burwell will meet a Rebels team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Ord (Ord, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 3-13.

The Tigers (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Riverside was outscored by Fullerton (Fullerton, NE), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
