The Calhoun County Cougars routed the visiting Mitchell County Eagles basketball team by a final score of 64-41 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) in a A D2 Region 1A game, on Friday, January 27. Calhoun County will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 12-9 record after their 67-18 league win over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA).
With the defeat, Mitchell County moves to 18-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Early County (Blakely, GA) to face the Bobcats in a A D2 Region 1B game on Friday, January 27.
