Texas High School Basketball - Cayuga can't hold off Kerens

The Kerens Bobcats basketball team scored 26 points and restricted the host Cayuga Wildcats to 25 in the Bobcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martins Mill for a 2A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 27. Kerens will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-48 league loss to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-5.
The Wildcats (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region III District 19 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Cross Roads was nudged by Frankston (Frankston, TX), 57-28, in a league contest.
