Texas High School Basketball - Kerens can't hold off Cayuga

The Cayuga Wildcats basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Kerens Bobcats to 41 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross Roads for a 2A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Cayuga will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 78-33 league loss to Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-17.
The Bobcats (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region III District 19 contest with a 24-6 record. In their last contest, Martins Mill was nudged by LaPoynor (LaRue, TX), 60-47, in a league contest.
