Texas High School Basketball - Lewisville can't hold off Coppell

The Coppell Cowboys basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Lewisville Farmers to 55 in the Cowboys league victory on Tuesday.
The Cowboys now sport a 21-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flower Mound for a 6A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, January 27. Coppell will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 83-41 league loss to Plano West (Plano, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-23.
The Farmers (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Plano East (Plano, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region I District 6 contest with a 25-3 record. In their last contest, Plano East edged Marcus (Flower Mound, TX), 68-41, in a league contest.
