The Edgewood Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ganesha Giants to 16 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garey for a Miramonte contest on Thursday, January 26. Edgewood will meet a Vikings team coming off a 59-44 league loss to Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-8.

The Giants (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against La Puente (La Puente, CA). The Warriors enter the Miramonte contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, La Puente was routed by Bassett (La Puente, CA), 62-57, in a league contest.
