The Fleming Colonels basketball team (Roanoke, VA), was toppled 68-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA)
The Vikings now possess a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a Blue Ridge battle on Friday, January 27. Northside will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 59-55 league loss to William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-6.
The Colonels (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Franklin County beat Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 73-40, in a league battle.
