In Friday's league outing, the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), by a count of 82-45.
The Vikings (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league outing with a 9-1 record. In their last outing, Glass smashed Rustburg (Rustburg, VA), 69-44, in a league outing.
The Colonels now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a Blue Ridge outing on Tuesday, January 10. Fleming will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 70-43 league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-4.
