The George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) basketball crushed the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), 68-30 in Tuesday's league test.
The Maroons (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Graham walloped Tazewell (Tazewell, VA), 51-46, in a league test.
The Maroon Tide now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Northwood for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. Galax will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 68-43 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.
