Virginia High School Basketball - Galax ripped by George Wythe

The George Wythe Maroons basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Galax Maroon Tide to 28 in the Maroons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Maroons now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pulaski County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27.
The Maroon Tide (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Carroll County triumphed over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 62-59, in a non-league contest.
