Niobrara County Tigers (Lusk, WY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings (Guernsey, WY), 77-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Niobrara County upgrades its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pine Bluffs (Pine Bluffs, WY) to play the Hornets in a 2A Southeast bout on Friday, January 27. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Pine Bluffs won 65-27 in their recent league bout against Burns (Burns, WY)

Next up, the Vikings play the Arvada-Clearmont Panthers (Clearmont, WY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Guernsey-Sunrise will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 48-28 league loss to Kaycee (Kaycee, WY).
