Arizona High School Basketball - Phoenix Christian edges Highland Prep

The Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the host Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ), 67-64 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (17-4) will now prepare for their test against North Pointe Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons go into the 2A Central test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, North Pointe Prep was tipped by Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ), 49-45, in a league test.

The Honey Badgers now own a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mountainside for a 2A Central test on Thursday, January 26. Highland Prep will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 53-52 non-league loss to Ray (Kearny, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 0-11.
