Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), 58-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 10-13 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to play the Minutemen in a Heart of Illinois bout on Friday, January 27. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 20-5. Lexington won 60-50 in their recent league bout against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) in a Heart of Illinois bout, on Friday, January 27. LeRoy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 41-40 league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).
