In Tuesday's league outing, the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), by a margin of 47-40.

The Lobos (21-4) will now prepare for their outing against Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Mavericks go into the 5A Region II District 15 outing with a 14-16 record. In their last outing, Marshall got by Texas (Texarkana, TX), 60-45, in a league outing.
