The Manila Lions (Manila, AR) basketball crushed the host Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), 84-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Colts go into the 3A Region 3 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Rivercrest walloped Gosnell (Gosnell, AR), 57-54, in a league test.
The Mohawks now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisburg for a 3A Region 3 test on Friday, January 27. Piggott will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 66-43 league loss to Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 11-11.
