Manila Lions (Manila, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), 83-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Manila upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Harrisburg won 44-35 in their recent non-league bout against Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR)

Next up, the Mohawks play the Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR) in a 3A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Piggott will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
