Texas High School Basketball - Medina Valley nudges South San Antonio

In Tuesday's league outing, the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) basketball squad edged the host South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 62-59.

The Panthers (7-18) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons go into the 5A Region IV District 28 outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, Southwest was tipped by Winn (Eagle Pass, TX), 58-55, in a league outing.

The Bobcats now hold a 16-11 record. They play next when they travel to Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 outing on Friday, January 27. South San Antonio will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 44-33 league win over Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Indians record now stands at 13-11.
