The Meridian Mustangs basketball team (Falls Church, VA), was overwhelmed 69-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA)

The Hawks now possess a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a Northwestern battle on Friday, January 27. Skyline will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-44 league win over Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-14.

The Mustangs (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons come into the Northwestern battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, William Monroe trounced Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 64-50, in a league battle.
