Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) and the host Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), saw Skyline's basketball squad wallop Meridian by a tally of 71-45.

With the victory, Skyline improves its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Warren County (Front Royal, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Northwestern challenge on Monday, February 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-18. Warren County lost 62-33 in their recent league challenge against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 59-43 league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA).
