Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad overcome Mesquite by a tally of 62-50.

With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) to confront the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 18-6.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky challenge, on Monday, January 30. Mesquite will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 63-60 league win over Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ).
