In Tuesday's league outing, the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) basketball squad nipped the host Monmouth Regional Falcons (Tinton Falls, NJ), by a margin of 50-43.
The Spartans (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Piners go into the Shore C - South outing with a 0-10 record. In their last outing, Lakewood was tipped by Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ), 43-42, in a non-league outing.
The Falcons now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Shore Regional for a Shore C - South outing on Thursday, January 26.
