Alabama High School Basketball - Shades Valley overwhelmed by Mountain Brook

The Mountain Brook Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Shades Valley Mounties to 38 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pell City for a 6A Area 10 contest on Friday, January 27. Mountain Brook will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-52 league loss to Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
The Mounties (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Colonels come into the 6A Area 10 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn was routed by Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL), 88-47, in a league contest.
