The Washington Patriots basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Orting Cardinals to 56 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steilacoom for a 2A South Puget Sound contest on Thursday, January 26. Washington will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 72-54 league win over White River (Buckley, WA). The Sentinels record now stands at 8-8.

The Cardinals (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Eatonville (Eatonville, WA). The Cruisers go into the non-league bout with a 10-6 record. In their last bout, Eatonville topped Tenino (Tenino, WA), 83-71, in a league bout.
