Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), 59-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Seminole upgrades its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Andrews (Andrews, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, January 27. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 8-16. Andrews lost 51-32 in their recent league bout against Monahans (Monahans, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, January 27. Pecos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-18 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 11-14 record after their 89-43 league loss to Greenwood (Midland, TX).
