Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), 79-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Seminole upgrades its record to 23-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Andrews (Andrews, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 12-17. Andrews won 44-41 in their recent league bout against Monahans (Monahans, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Pecos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-23 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-18 record after their 62-33 league loss to Greenwood (Midland, TX).
