Texas High School Basketball - Three Rivers ripped by Port Aransas

The Port Aransas Marlins basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Three Rivers Bulldogs to 38 in the Marlins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Marlins now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenedy for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Friday, January 27. Port Aransas will battle a Lions team coming off a 45-42 league loss to Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-17.

The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 3-21 record. In their last contest, Yorktown was routed by Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 68-19, in a league contest.
