South Gray Rebels (Montezuma, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS), 48-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Gray upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Meade (Meade, KS) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Meade won 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against Bucklin (Bucklin, KS)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Bucklin Red Aces (Bucklin, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. South Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Red Aces come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Meade (Meade, KS).
