In Tuesday's league outing, the Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) basketball squad felled the visiting Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA), by a margin of 66-48.
The Eagles (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Warriors go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 outing with a 15-5 record.
The Panthers now have a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southland Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 match on Friday, January 27. Tiftarea Academy will meet a Raiders team coming off a 64-55 league loss to Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 15-4.
